It's All About Love... Jennifer & Chris

Jennifer and Chris' wedding was nestled in the woods down a long dirt road that lead to the groom's family's home and horse farm.  An old cannon that sat in the front yard proudly displayed an American Flag that was gently blowing in the wonderful breeze we had yesterday.  There were rolling fields and pastures for the horses to roam, and friends and family smiling, laughing, and working hard to make the day come together just perfectly for the bride and groom.  It was so nice to see such a hard working and genuine family pour so much love into the preparations for their big day.
Jennifer was glowing as she first told me (and when she put it on, and when she walked down the isle!) about the perfect dress she had found.  So, for the beautiful bride, we have two of my favorite dress pictures of the day!
Jennifer, Chris, friends, and family, you were so warm & welcoming to Joshua and I (even if some of you were trying to run from us! haha) Thank you so much for inviting us to share your special day with you!

These origami spinners were hand made by the bride and groom!  They were beautiful lining the whole tent spinning in the breeze throughout the day. (My other "obsession" of this weekend... the llamas and the origami spinners!)

The flower girls taking care of business!  Another great shot by Josh!

The Little Things... Fabulous Details by Joshua Cross!

So, today, I will be posting two blogs.  I just had to start out with this one to express how wonderful it has been for my husband, Josh to be my assistant this year.  He is my second shooter, my strong arms for carrying equipment, and a very good creative eye for detail!  He is usually running around taking shots while I am with the bride photographing her getting ready, or sneaking out during the dancing part of the reception to see what he can find.
We had a fabulous weekend, both as a couple and professionally with our weddings we photographed.  Josh came out with some great shots, and I want to share some of my favorites with you!  I am combining the two weddings from this weekend, and then in my blog later today, we will have the official sneak peek of Jennifer and Chris' wedding yesterday!
Thank you Joshua for the amazing job you have done already this summer!

Ok, so, the first 3 shots are some of my favorite ever.  Josh thinks I am fruity for having such an obsession with these pictures.
But, hello, they are hilarious!
Here is MY story ... the llama says "Hey, buddy, what are you looking at?  You waitin' for me to do something cute?  I'll show you cute"............

"Are you ready?  Wait for it, wait for it..."

"Oh yeah, eat your heart out photographer guy."
Haha!  Love it!

Now for yesterday's wedding.....  Again, here are just a few details that Josh took, the sneak peek of the wedding will be later today!

A beautiful ring shot with their gorgeous cake server.

The old cannon (that still works like a charm, may I add) with the American flag that is displayed with great honor in the front yard.

Kyle & Megan

I just have to start out by saying that this is one of the cutest weddings I have been to!  With hot pink and bright orange as the wedding colors, there was just vibrancy and life everywhere!  The bride even stole my heart with the decorations that were picked out, the details that were everywhere, and (my favorite flower) the Gerbera Daisies that filled the ceremony, wedding party, and reception.  Loved everything!
Megan looked amazing with her hair done in a sweet up-do and her dress fitting perfectly.  Her bridesmaids looked beautiful in their hot pink dresses, while the men looked sharp sporting bright orange accents.  Friends and family all gathered around with pure happiness and love to share with the newly married couple.  It just could not have been a more perfect day.
Thank you so much to Megan, Kyle, and all of your friends and family for asking us to be a part of your special day.  I hope you enjoy the sneak peeks we have chosen for you!

Maple Hill Farm is just too cute.  Look at those colors!!  Love it!

Jennifer & David.... Just Married!

Jennifer and David were one of the most unique and amazing couples I had ever met.  Jennifer was beautiful in her simple off white flowing gown as the warm breeze whisped through during the ceremony.    During the toasts, their family spoke of great accomplishments, adventures, and most importantly the love they share, with such happiness and joy.  You could tell these two families would definitely become one through Jennifer and David's marriage.

Jennifer and David, thank you for letting us share your special day with you!

Love this shot.  We were in the oldest house (turned bed and breakfast) in Union! The structure was beautiful.  This was the sister of the groom's dress hanging before the wedding.

What a gorgeous ceremony location!

Good Times, Great Friends & Family, & True Love!

Friends, family, and a whole ton of love gathered on Saturday evening at the home of new bride and groom, Alyson and Steve, to celebrate their marriage.  There was so much laughter and wonderful energy, it was a awesome celebration for such a great couple!
I wanted to share a full blog tonight for Alyson, Steve, and all of the awesome guests that were there that made us feel so welcome and were super picture takers!!  :)

Congratulations Alyson, Steve, Stephen, Paige, Ella, Cole, and baby monkey ~ can't wait to see you again!

Loved the colors Alyson chose.  A girl after my own heart with hot pinks, lime greens, and bright blues!  A fab detail shot from Josh!  More of his shots to come.....

Gearing up the keg!  Another Josh shot!....

Yep, you guessed it, Josh captured the beer from the keg spray dripping right off his nose.  Lol.

Grillin' time!  Josh.... and the next....

Josh.... Doesn't that just make you want to go fire up the grill?!  Alyson, friends, and family did an amazing job making yummy dishes and pies for everybody to enjoy.

Babycakes!  This little princess was such a cutie!

The little princess' brother... he warmed up to me.. after like an hour!  lol

Good times....

Great friends...

Great family....

True love.

Sum-Sum is Turning One!

You first saw this lil munchkin, Summer when she was in her momma's belly!  We had a newborn session when Summer was around 6 weeks, and now it's almost her 1st birthday!!
I love getting together with Heather, AJ, and the fam, they are always so much fun!  Summer's mommy originally wanted to keep all of the images a secret until after Summer's party, but I think she got just as excited as I am when she saw my favorite image from the set, and she is now letting me share it with you!!

Thank you again to The Staples family.  Love you guys and am looking forward to many more years of photography with you!
