Kari & Joe ~ St. George, ME Wedding Photography

What a beautiful day on Saturday for Kari and Joe's wedding!!

We started our day off photographing the gentleman that were not suppose to like to get their pictures taken..... well, I have to say - they did great!  I was so proud of Joe and his guys for hanging in there and taking some great shots.  Although, the joke was on me a couple of times... it's ok, I am tough, I can handle it! Haha, thanks guys!

We proceeded to the ceremony where there was so much emotion from everybody as they watched Kari and Joe say their vows and seal their commitments with their rings.  A very short and sweet ceremony that was filled with tears, happiness, and lots of laughter.

The reception held many special moments from guests traveling from afar, a poem that was sent in from a dear friend whom couldn't be there for their special day, and of course the dances for loved ones to share.

Thank you Kari & Joe for asking Josh and I to capture your special day.  We hope you like the sneak peeks we have picked out for you today!

Love this shot of Kari looking at her mom as she is walked down the isle by her father.

Kari - you looked beautiful!

Melissa & Dustin ~ Augusta, ME Wedding Photography

I am pretty sure that all of the love that the world had to offer that day was inside the chapel the day that Melissa & Dustin said "I Do".

Josh and I were surrounded by the most amazing, genuine, fun, and loving people.  It was such a pleasure to be asked to be a part of such a wonderful day.

Everywhere you looked, you were reminded that this day was not just about Melissa and Dustin uniting, it was about their families, their friends, and what they believed in and held so close to their heart.

The handmade quilt that hung behind Melissa & Dustin as they spoke their vows was a gift made by Melissa's mom; Debbie.  If you looked closely, you could see the stitching was in the shape of dog bones!  Sitting beside each of the bride and groom were pillars with red roses and the photos of their late grandparents; to still have them close on such a special day.  The special car that they left the ceremony in?  Built by Dustin's grandfather!  Families were laughing and sharing stories, and moms, aunts, and grandmothers were all specially escorted down the isle before the bride.

The reception was filled with red roses, with black and red accents, and a theme that Melissa & Dustin is so passionate about; animal rescue.  Children played with special gift bags full of toys and stickers, and adorable puppy and dog bone shaped chocolates sat at each table setting with a small note that read "In lieu of additional favors, we have made a donation to Star Bright Animal Rescue".  How can you not love a couple that is so selfless?!

Melissa, Dustin, friends, & family ~ you truly are all amazing.  Thank you so much for inviting us to share such a special day.  We hope you like the (additional - hehe) pictures we have chosen for your blog.

The flower girls looking on as Melissa steps out of the limo with her bridesmaids and gets a touch up from Aunt Sharon. Everybody needs an "Aunt Sharon" at their wedding!  She swooped in like a super-hero at the perfect times!

I loved the energy that Melissa & Dustin had.  Their happiness just completely shined through the whole day.

Gorgeous!

It took a second to get Melissa's dress tucked in nice and safe, but, once things were set, they were so cute!

The dance floor was packed!  Love it!
