The Sweetest Thing.....

Everything was just so sweet about Meagan and her family. With her cute little baby belly, her precious 2 year old daughter, her supportive boyfriend, and his beautiful, well mannered 10 year old daughter all being there together, you could just tell Meagan was just so happy to have all of them together. It truly seemed to be "the sweetest thing" to her.

I had such a great time talking to Meagan and photographing her family, I can't wait to see their new little addition, I am sure she too will be; the sweetest little thing.

Make-A-Wish Bake Sale

Here is an adorable little munchkin that came to visit The Easter Bunny on Saturday, when I hosted my first bake sale to help raise money for The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Maine. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect team, turn out, or weather. I like to think that all of the special children that Make-A-Wish has helped put all of their beautiful smiles together and sent us the amazing rays of sun for that day. Friends stopped by to donate, babies met The Easter Bunny for the first time, and some great businesses all came together to help this wonderful cause.

When I first decided to host the bake sale, I never thought of a goal. I just thought - "baking, planning, and pictures; that's my gig!" But, after my mom asked, I had to stop and think what I really wanted to try to reach to make an impact in a special child's life. The average wish to grant to a child by Make-A-Wish cost approximately $6000! So, a small bake sale, I hoped that $500 would be a nice goal to reach. After all of the raffles were submitted, the goodies sold, and the donations counted, we had hit $711!

What a wonderful end to a perfect day - I couldn't have asked for anything more...... except time for organization... but we will work on that next year when we set out to reach our new $1000 goal.

Thank you to The Playroom on Rt. 90 for making sure the Easter Bunny came to visit and all that was a part of our day on Saturday, you all helped raise money for an amazing cause!!

Hot Momma!!

I am so excited to post this blog tonight! My good friend, and hair stylist, Angela trusted me with the special task of taking pictures of her, her husband, and their cute little baby belly! I was psyched when she asked, because Angela is gorgeous, easy going, and has a perfect little baby belly on her, what more could I ask for?! Oh yeah, and the weather, 68 with a soft breeze...... put all of those together, and we have one beautiful momma!!

Angela and Greg, thank you so much for asking me to take pictures of such a precious, special occasion. I can't wait to meet your little munchkin, and hope you like your sneak peek!!
